Layering

Measurements, observations and diagnoses are stored apart. Switching genre or delivery target re-derives every finding from storage; only an engine upgrade forces re-measuring audio.

Contract

A diagnosis declares which metric must move, in which direction and by how much to count as fixed, plus guards on the metrics that must not move.

Linted rules

A rule whose remedy is vague, or whose verification metric is absent from the measurement catalogue, does not load. Vague advice cannot reach a user.

Restraint

When many rules fire at once, one profile-mismatch item replaces a wall of findings. A tool that calls taste a defect is abandoned fast.
